Building the Foundation
The Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery Public Foundation is a registered charity with the principal purpose of raising funds for capital projects.
Foundation Projects:
We are re-adapting the Merchants Bank of Canada building to create a community venue for the arts, culture and heritage in the
downtown core.
Phase 1 of the revitalization is to improve the safety and long term conservation of the historic site, including an upgrade to the heating and cooling system, sprinkler system, and fire alarm panel, and accessibility.
Phase 2 will be the development of creative and engaging spaces for the exhibition of art, history and culture, as well as public programs and community events.
The Museum Foundation is currently raising funds for this accessibility project. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to the Museum Foundation to help with this important community initiative. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible and receipts will be issued for any donation of $10 and over.
Your donation will be recognized in the following categories in a permanent donor recognition plaque at the Bank building, and in numerous publications, media releases and special events.
- Platinum - $25,000 and above
- Gold - $10,000 and above
- Silver - $5,000 and above
